
Biography
Mark Allen Stenberg was born in Han Yang, Korea on January 2, 1979. He was adopted at 7 months of age by Warren Stenberg and Karen Stenberg who resided in Portland, OR. They later adopted his sister Julia Maria Stenberg 2 years later. He grew up and attended Montessori school for preschool and kindergarten. In his elementary years, he attended Trinity Lutheran School. There, he developed a love for, and excelled in, basketball winning the championship in his 8th grade year. After graduating from grade school, Mark went through a period of troubled times in his life. He got into the pull of gangs and all that entails. Years later he started changing his life around. He ended up graduating a year early from highchool from McCoy Academy. Years passed and he then had his first daughter Nakkia. He got a good job and even became a head manager at Fred Meyers. He then settled down with his family in Portland, OR. In later years he had 2 more dughters Lady Zahara, and Lady Esther. During this time, he developed a love for poetry and a deep respect for God. He began writing which turned into putting that poetry into music and reflections of his life. His dream was to give back to the less fortunate and had plans of expanding his musical career and using the money from that to create food banks, community centers, and halfway houses. On February 10, 2008, his life was cut short as he was on a promotional tour for his music. His light was distinguished at age 29. He is survived by his 3 daughters and younger sister.
